Who this policy covers

This policy describes how Moonglow Power handles information in connection with this website. It reflects what the site actually does today, and states clearly where a provision only applies once a technology is enabled. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

Information handled today

Server and request logs

Like most websites, requests to Moonglow Power are handled by hosting and content-delivery providers that may record technical information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp. This is used for delivering the site, security and diagnosing faults.

Messages you send us

If you contact us, we hold your message and contact details for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections. We do not add people who write to us to a marketing list.

Technologies not currently active

The following are not in use on this site at the time of the last update below. Each provision applies only if and when the technology is enabled, and this page will be updated before that happens.

• Analytics: if analytics are enabled, they would collect usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.
• Cookies and similar technologies: if cookies beyond those strictly needed to serve the site are used, this page will describe them and their purpose.
• Newsletter and email: the signup field currently shown on the site is not connected to an email provider and does not store submissions. If an email platform is added, the information you provide at signup would be processed by that provider.
• Advertising, remarketing and tracking pixels: none are in use, and none are planned as part of the current build.

Affiliate links

Where the site links to a retailer, that link may be an affiliate link. Following it takes you to the retailer's own site, where the retailer or an affiliate network may set cookies or record the referral in order to attribute a purchase. Third-party services

We rely on service providers to operate the site, including hosting and content delivery, and a hosted content management system used to publish editorial content. These providers process information on our behalf in order to deliver the site. Providers may operate in, or route traffic through, countries other than yours.

Retention

Technical logs are retained for the periods set by our hosting and delivery providers. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for editorial accountability, and then deleted.

You can browse the site without giving us any personal information. You can ask what correspondence we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law; we will consider any such request in good faith.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or transmission method is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

This policy will be updated as the site changes — particularly when analytics, cookies or email are introduced. The date below always reflects the current version.
